Chris Nordstrom is a highly experienced Key Grip and the founder of Global Grips Ltd, a leading provider of grip and camera support services for film and television productions across the UK.
With nearly three decades in the industry, Chris began his career in Canada at William F. White International, where he built a strong foundation in grip and lighting. His expertise now encompasses all aspects of grip logistics, including the creative application of dolly grip techniques, handheld and Steadicam support, as well as advanced remote head and camera crane systems.
His early work includes major studio films such as The Tuxedo, X-Men, Resident Evil, Welcome to Mooseport, and Cinderella Man, showcasing his technical precision and adaptability. After relocating to Scotland, Chris expanded his portfolio to include British film and television productions such as Only Child, Rebus, Guilt, and Deadwater Fell. He has most recently contributed to feature films including & Sons, Infinite, Black Widow, Man and Witch, Row, and Flux Gourmet.
Formerly a member of IATSE in Canada, Chris is now affiliated with BECTU in the UK, reflecting his ongoing commitment to professional standards and industry collaboration. Through Global Grips, he continues to deliver reliable, innovative support to productions of all scales.
