Urtė is a Scotland-based production designer and film artist with over five years of experience in short films, music videos, and commercials. She collaborated with artists such as Belle & Sebastian and Franz Ferdinand and, worked on projects supported by the BFI, BBC and GMAC. The short film “You Land” Urtė designed was nominated for a BAFTA.
Her practice is rooted in a deep interest in the space between the beautiful and the ugly in art, and she is always looking for stories that can be enhanced through thoughtful, expressive visual storytelling.
